Parallel Workflows Is Live.
Most workflow architectures don't have a speed problem. They have a sequencing problem. Parallel Workflows on RakerOne fixes the architecture.

Today, we're launching Parallel Workflows on RakerOne, and we think it's the most operationally significant upgraded capability we've shipped in the last months. Not because it automates more tasks. Because it changes the shape of how work gets done. Instead of your processes moving through a chain of handoffs, one step waiting for the last to finish, RakerOne now dispatches independent tasks simultaneously, closes them as they complete, and only surfaces a human when a genuine decision is required. The result: workflows that used to take 8 to 12 days now can be closed 2x-3x faster. That's not an incremental improvement. That's a different speed of operation.
The problem with doing things in order
Linear workflows made sense when coordination required a human at every step. Someone had to pass the file. Someone had to confirm the receipt. Someone had to start the next task manually.
That constraint is gone. But most businesses still run as if it isn't. Compliance waits for legal. Legal waits for IT. IT waits for the account manager. Nobody is slow, the process is just structured to create waiting.
In client onboarding alone, the average mid-market company runs 12 to 18 handoffs across 8 to 12 business days. Most of that time is not work. It's waiting.
What Parallel Workflows changes
RakerOne now maps every workflow you run and identifies which tasks share a dependency and which don't. Tasks that don't depend on each other no longer wait for each other. They run at the same time.
For client onboarding specifically, that means compliance documentation, legal agreement generation, IT provisioning, and CRM completion all start the moment a new client record hits your system. Your team doesn't orchestrate it. RakerOne does.
Human touchpoints don't disappear, they get more precise. Where a real decision is required, RakerOne surfaces a structured approval request with full context. One action. During that approval step, the rest of the workflow continues to complete its journey.
The impact of shifting to parallel workflow vs linear workflow is substantial: 40 to 70% reduction in workflow cycle .time.
Linear Workflow | RakerOne Parallel Workflow | |
|---|---|---|
Step sequencing | One task waits for the prior to finish | All independent steps run simultaneously |
Error rate | Higher — compounded by sequential fatigue | Lower — each stream validated independently |
Bottleneck risk | Single point of failure cascades | Contained per stream, no cascade |
Cycle time reduction | Baseline | 40–70% faster |
Example: Client Onboarding Using a Parallel Workflow
Here is what a parallel client onboarding looks like inside RakerOne:
Trigger. A new client record is created in your CRM (Salesforce, HubSpot, or any connected system). RakerOne detects the trigger and initiates the onboarding workflow.
Parallel dispatch. Four independent streams launch simultaneously: compliance documentation, legal agreement generation, IT access provisioning, and CRM record completion. Each stream is handled by a dedicated RakerOne agent pulling from your connected data sources.
Human gates. Where a human decision is genuinely required, a legal sign-off, a compliance exception, RakerOne surfaces a structured approval request. No inbox archaeology. No chasing. One click, with full context.
Close. When all streams complete and all gates clear, RakerOne fires the welcome sequence, logs the completed onboarding to your system of record, and closes the workflow. Your team gets a confirmation. The client gets a seamless experience.

This is infrastructure, not automation
Parallel Workflows isn't a faster way to do the same thing. It removes the assumption that tasks must be sequential when they don't need to be. Every workflow you migrate off linear execution gets faster, leaner, and less dependent on human coordination.
