Is Rakesign free?
Yes. The Free plan costs $0 and has no time limit. You send unlimited envelopes, with 3 out for signature at a time. Starter ($30 a month) keeps 10 open and Pro ($500 a month) keeps 100 open.
Do the people who sign need an account?
No. They open the link in the email, type the one-time code and sign. Only the sender needs a Rakesign account.
Can people sign on their phone?
Yes. The signing page works in the browser of any phone, tablet or computer. There is no app to install.
Is a Rakesign signature legally binding?
Yes. Rakesign signatures are designed to meet ESIGN and UETA in the US, eIDAS in the EU and PIPEDA in Canada. Each PDF carries a tamper-evident seal and a certificate of completion.
What is an open envelope?
An envelope is open from the time you send it until everyone signs, someone declines, or you cancel it. Completed envelopes do not count.
