34 Partners, a Montreal-based strategic investment platform focused on building category-defining technology companies, today announced a growth investment in CloudRaker, an software company serving complex industries such as healthcare, financial services, and manufacturing.
The investment supports CloudRaker’s long-term product strategy: consolidating years of enterprise-grade custom software, AI solutions, and operational tooling into a unified AI operating software platform purpose-built for the mid-market.
For more than 25 years, CloudRaker has designed and operated mission-critical digital solutions for organizations including Merck, Gouvernement du Québec, Canada, Desjardins, and other enterprises operating under strict regulatory, security, and compliance constraints. That work has resulted in a deep portfolio of software components — ordering systems, orchestration logic, data transformation pipelines, document automation, digital identity, compliance frameworks, and human-in-the-loop systems — deployed inside some of the most demanding environments.
This investment enables CloudRaker to integrate these capabilities into a single AI-native software foundation, designed to move beyond fragmented tools and experimental AI initiatives.
“Large enterprises can afford to build and operate complex systems that truly run their business. The mid-market can’t afford those same solutions,” said Pascal Hébert, CEO of CloudRaker. “This investment allows us to turn years of enterprise work into a managed, AI-native operational platform built for mid-market realities: fast to deploy, easy to use, and adapted to how mid-market teams actually work every day. Our goal is to give mid-market companies more operational autonomy to grow without adding headcount."
Rather than building from scratch, CloudRaker’s approach is grounded in operational reality: transforming systems already running in production into a unified platform that can support complex workflows across people, data, and enterprise systems.
“CloudRaker has spent decades operating inside complexity,” said Thomas Raymond, Partner at 34 Partners. “Their experience building digital solutions for regulated organizations gives them a rare advantage in today’s AI landscape. We’re investing to help turn that depth into a scalable software platform for the mid-market.”
As part of the partnership, Philippe Archambault and Thomas Raymond, co-founders of 34 Partners, will take an active role in CloudRaker’s next phase of growth, working closely with the leadership team to drive long-term value creation.
The investment marks the first step in a broader platform journey, positioning CloudRaker to define a new standard for how AI software is built, governed, and deployed inside businesses.
